We are excited to announce the release of Threatnote’s new CTI Maturity Assessment Tool, developed using the Cyber Threat Intelligence Capability Maturity Model (CTI-CMM) framework. The tool helps organizations measure, track, and continuously improve their cyber threat intelligence maturity directly within the Threatnote platform.
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Capability Maturity Model (CTI-CMM) is a framework developed by a community of CTI leaders to help organizations assess and enhance their threat intelligence capabilities across 11 key domains. It provides a structured way to evaluate maturity from CTI0 (no capability) to CTI3 (fully implemented and optimized), ensuring that programs evolve methodically toward measurable improvement.
The new CTI Maturity Assessment Tool in Threatnote leverages this framework to enable continuous, data-driven measurement of an organization’s intelligence capabilities directly within the platform.
Threat intelligence teams often struggle to quantify program maturity and communicate progress to stakeholders. The CTI Maturity Assessment Tool bridges that gap by making maturity measurement ongoing, transparent, and evidence-based.
Because maturity is not static and your measurement tool should not be either.
By embedding the CTI-CMM framework into Threatnote, teams gain continuous visibility into how intelligence planning, tasking, and analysis translate into measurable maturity gains. Integration eliminates siloed spreadsheets and manual tracking, ensuring your CTI team can demonstrate improvement with evidence tied to real work outputs.
We’re excited to introduce the CTI Maturity Assessment Tool, built using the CTI-CMM framework to help teams measure, benchmark, and improve their cyber threat intelligence programs
